An Important Change During Challenging Times

Due to the escalating situation with Coronavirus, we have made the difficult decision to switch Sumiao Hunan Kitchen to Takeout/Delivery/Catering Only effective March 16th until further notice. We made this painful decision to ensure the safety of our guests and our staff and to do our part in slowing the spread of the virus.

We believe that we can continue offering Takeout/Delivery/Catering with the following measures we are implementing:

We are available for to-go orders from 11am to 9pm seven days a week via our website. We would like to give back to the community by providing a 10% discount on orders. Please remember to use the promo code sumiaoloveu while you place online orders. We stand together to fight COVID-19.

We are also available for delivery via Ubereats, Caviar, Doordash, Grubhub, and RicePo. These services are also offering or working on contactless delivery to protect you.

In addition, we will proactively learn, develop, and implement new preventative measures from federal, state, and industry authorities. We will keep you updated as we continue to improve our processes and product.

Along with the temporary closing of our dine-in service, our donation program of dry and hot noodles will end early on March 15th. That said, we are extremely proud to announce that since February 13th, we have collected $18,923 as part of our We Stand with Wuhan initiative. The check for this amount has been sent to the Tongji Medical College Overseas Alumni Association (TJMCOAA). These funds have and will be exclusively used to help and support the local hospitals and clinicians in Wuhan, many of whom are Sumiao’s friends from her university days.
