First Chinese Restaurant to Launch Impossible Beef in New England

We’re proud to share that Sumiao Hunan Kitchen is the first Chinese restaurant in the entire New England region to launch Impossible Beef dishes on its menu. Our fall/winter menu features four delicious Impossible Beef dishes: Impossible Beef on Fire, Pickled Bean & Impossible Beef over Noodle, Picked Bean with Impossible Beef, and Impossible Beef over Rice Crust. Impossible Beef is made entirely from plants, but features the same aroma, flavor and nutritional value as traditional beef. Come try it out for yourself!

A Royal Cocktail

From now until the end of the year, we will be serving our Cinderella Carriage cocktail for $8. Crafted with pumpkin liqueur, pumpkin eggnog, and topped off with pumpkin whipped cream, this dreamy pumpkin cocktail is an absolute must-try drink!

Diabetes Awareness Month

November is National Diabetes Month which raises awareness of a cause that is very important to our founder, Sumiao Chen. Before becoming a restaurant owner, Sumiao worked for years as a pharmaceutical researcher, spending a significant amount of time on diabetes-related projects. Sumiao is always looking for ways to give back to the diabetes community, which is why during the month of November, 10% of all brown and black rice sales will be donated to the Asian American Diabetes Initiative (AADI).

Additionally, we’ve teamed up with AADI to create a menu of diabetes-friendly dishes. Our mission is not only to create flavorful, delicious food but also to focus on the health benefits of the food that we’re serving our customers. Join us this month and together we can help make an impact on the diabetes community.

Thanksgiving Special

Starting on November 23 and running through November 29, we’ll be featuring our Thanksgiving special. For $26, you can pretend it’s Thanksgiving all week long by feasting on our spicy turkey with pumpkin!
