Chef Zhang's July Picks

Our chef has been busy creating some seriously delicious stuff this Season. Perfect for patio dining or to enjoy at home:
1. Stir-Fry Cucumber with Shiso 紫苏煎小黄瓜 – Wok’d fried cucumbers with fragrant shiso – basically summer on a plate.
2. Crunchy Jicama with Wok’d Pork 凉薯烩炒干煸肉 – Super refreshing jicama with our perfectly seasoned pork. Light but totally satisfying.
3. Five-spiced Tripe with Crunchy Celery 香芹脆炒牛肚 – Don’t knock it ’til you try it! Our five-spice blend makes this dish absolutely addictive.
4. Wok’d Frog and Mushrooms 鹿茸菇爆炒牛蛙 – Trust us on this one – fresh frog with those amazing velvet mushrooms. It’s a twist on Hunan classic that’ll surprise you.
5. Rice’n Beef on Fire 家乡小炒牛伴炒饭 – You love our Beef on Fire, right? Now imagine it mixed with our fried rice. You’re welcome.
6. Sizzling Xiao Long Bao (6) 香煎小笼包 – Soup dumplings, but make them crispy! We steam them first, then give them that golden pan-seared finish.

Musician Highlight

Rivers Between is a Boston-area indie folk duo made up of singer-songwriter Greg Kane and vocalist Kat Brooks, and they’ve become real local favorites around here. Greg brings these soulful compositions and engaging folk guitar style with such a unique voice, while Kat adds these beautifully inventive harmonies that just blend perfectly together. There’s something really genuine and heartfelt about their sound – the kind of music that creates this perfect atmosphere while you’re enjoying dinner. It’s always a treat when they play!
