Celebrating Dragon Boat Festival, Father’s Day, and Pride and Summer Events

WeChat Version in Chinese:

Dragon Boat Festival

Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday that falls on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, which is in late May or June on the Gregorian calendar. Celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival has been a local tradition in Cambridge since 1979. It has transformed old traditions into an exciting sporting and cultural event, right here on the Charles River. Arts and crafts, tasty food! We are so excited that the celebration of the Dragon Boat Festival is back on Monday, June 10th.
SHK has supported this annual event and sponsored a number of boat teams since 2016 and celebrated this festival with traditional foods. This year, we’ve made a donation to Dragon Boat Festival, Inc., the nonprofit that hosts their event. It is their 45th anniversary and they are having a fundraising gala to support their summer boating program. We are happy that we are able to support this cause.
