Our Spicy Twist on a New England Fall Favorite
Everyone has their favorite fall traditions, but one that us Bostonians particularly love is enjoying Shipyard Brewing Company’s famed Pumpkinhead beer with cinnamon-sugar on the rim. This year, we decided to kick it up a notch and put our own spin on the classic cinnamon-sugar rim by adding tajin chili powder for some extra spice. That’s right…we’re putting the SPICE in pumpkin spice this fall season.
A Truly Eye-Catching Halloween Cocktail
In Chinese ghost stories, Meng Po, the Lady of Forgetfulness, would serve a special drink to souls so that they could forget their past lives before reincarnation. The Waters of Oblivion, our special cocktail for October, is our take on this ancient ghost tale as we celebrate Halloween later this month. It’s made with Jiannanchun Baijiu, active charcoal, Chamford, Mulberry, and lemon, and it’s topped with a very “eye-catching” garnish of luxardo cherry and lychee. Priced at $8, the Waters of Oblivion is available throughout the month of October. It’s truly a cocktail you have to see to believe!
